Debbie & Simone | Tampa Motherhood Session

When my dear friend Debbie expressed interest in some “mommy and me” photos, we knew that the only place fitting for this sweet session was the shimmering shoreline. Shot on a mix of digital and real Fuji 400h film, we met up just after sunrise so we could bask in the light and beauty of the beach!

Film has this magical way of expressing tones - especially beach tones - and I love how their white dresses pop against the warm color of sand and the pastel green of the grass. Sandy feet, windblown hair, and glowing skin suited these two well as Debbie explored the beach with her darling daughter, Simone. After a hard season, it was amazing to celebrate Debbie and her beautiful, healthy girl at one of their favorite places.
