Several weeks ago, my husband and I tagged along on a family excursion to visit my cousin, Vanessa, at the University of Georgia for her Senior Equestrian Meet! I had been looking for an excuse to make the journey north because UGA's Equestrian Complex is truly a sight to be seen, and Vanessa has always been one of my "more willing" muses.
When my equestrian-crazed cousin Lindsey reached out to me to take portraits of her with her horse, Sam, I was stunned. I have begged... and begged... and begged Lindsey to be my muse. She agreed once, but she wasn't havin' the results. Lindsey is a "photo avoider." (Yes, I just made that a thing.) None of us know why (she's like, unfairly beautiful) - but nevertheless, she hates being in pictures - and I was reluctantly beginning to accept that me and my camera weren't going to have our way with her.
