"It was only right to capture these sweet moments, in the exact place I had my first maternity shoot with Colin. Being in that park took my mind back to the days when I dreamed about being his mother and holding him in my arms. I had no idea how motherhood would change my life for the better.  Motherhood has been intimidating, exhilarating, exhausting, trying, joyful, empowering… but most of all, rewarding! Watching my husband laugh and play with our boy is wonderful, but there is something so special knowing that I am the only one who can comfort him when he is hungry. Those sweet moments while nursing are like no other, providing stillness and tranquility - I think that is what I will miss the most as my baby grows, as I have been fortunate to stay home with Colin this past year. Reflecting back, most days while he napped, I would skip the chores to lay and watch him sleep. There is nothing more rejuvenating than listening to those little puffs of air as he breathes and seeing those chubby arms spread out across the bed. I find myself taking advantage of every moment these days, whether stress-filled or joyous, as I know these times will only be a memory as years continues to fly by.”  - Lauren, Mother
